Statement From Governor Culver On President Bush's Thursday Visit To Iowa
DES MOINES- Governor Chet Culver today issued the following statement on President Bush's planned visit to Iowa on Thursday
“I welcome President Bush’s visit to Iowa on Thursday. I look forward to the opportunity to show him firsthand the amazing resilience and spirit of Iowans, and to help him understand the devastation and the need for help in many of our communities – large and small. I know when he sees what’s happening in Iowa, he will want to ensure the federal government continues to do everything possible to help recover and rebuild as quickly as possible.”
