First Lady’s Conference On Solutions To Poverty On Thursday, June 19th Has Been Postponed
DES MOINES - The First Lady’s Conference on Solutions to Poverty, which was to feature John Edwards and First Lady Mari Culver, for Thursday, June 19th in Des Moines, has been postponed due to continued severe weather concerns across the state. The conference is tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday, September 16th. If you have already registered and plan to attend on the new date, your registration will transfer. If you are unable to attend the conference in September, you may log back-in to the system at www.iowaworkforce.org/povertyconference/ to update your registration.
Media outlets are asked to help relay the message throughout Iowa to help get message to the many recipients who were expected to attend.
