Governor Culver Reacts To Tim Russert's Death
(Des Moines)- Governor Chet Culver expressed shock and sadness upon hearing news that NBC News Washington Bureau chief and moderator of Meet the Press died of heart attack at work yesterday.
STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR CULVER:
" I was deeply saddened to learn about the death of Tim Russert yesterday. On a personal note, I think Tim was one of the most enjoyable and professional journalists I've ever had the privilege to meet. He was also always delightful to be around and he enjoyed life to the fullest. So, I send my heart felt condolences to Tim Russert's entire family including his father, wife and son and the many, many friends across the country and around the world who loved him."
