Today: Governor Culver To Present Rotc Awards
Governor Will Also Thank the Estimated 115,000 Iowa Vietnam Veterans on “Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day”
(DES MOINES) – Today at the Capitol, Governor Chet Culver will present the Governor's Award to top individuals from the 8 Iowa college ROTC programs. In addition to honoring top military cadets, Governor Culver will thank the estimated 115,000 Iowans who served in the Vietnam War. A resolution passed the Iowa Senate making today “Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day.”
