Governor Culver To Tour Flood Damage Tomorrow In Davenport
Event scheduled in Bettendorf has been cancelled
DES MOINES – Tomorrow, Governor Chet Culver will tour flood damage in downtown Davenport . During the visit, the Governor will meet with local elected and homeland security and emergency management officials, and discuss efforts being taken to protect the city from rising flood waters.
The Governor’s originally scheduled event at Trinity Hospital in Bettendorf has been cancelled due to heavy flooding in the region. The Governor’s other scheduled events for tomorrow in Muscatine and Cedar Rapids will proceed as planned.
