Governor Culver Statement On The Passage Of Time-21 In The House
( Des Moines ) Below is a statement from Governor Chet Culver on the Iowa House passing the TIME-21 (Transportation Investment Moves the Economy in the 21st Century) legislation 53-47.
STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR CHET CULVER :
I commend the legislature for sending to my desk this important “TIME-21” infrastructure legislation. I look forward to signing the bill. As I’ve said before, I am pleased to support a bipartisan measure that improves public safety and allows us to make critical investments in our infrastructure, especially our bridges and roads. I thank the Republican and Democratic legislators for locking arms and coming together to pass legislation funding these infrastructure needs.
