Governor Culver Congratulates Ap Coach Of The Year Keno Davis
DES MOINES – Today, Governor Chet Culver issued the following statement regarding Keno Davis being named the AP Coach of the Year.
“I want to congratulate Keno Davis on being named the Associated Press’s Coach of the Year. This distinguished recognition is a fitting end to a remarkable season of Drake Basketball. As a Drake Alum, I was proud to watch Coach Davis as he led this outstanding basketball team to its first NCAA tournament appearance in nearly 40 years. Throughout the season, Coach Davis and the Bulldogs demonstrated remarkable athleticism, sportsmanship and academics, and I look forward to inviting all of them to the Capitol and honoring their season of achievement in the coming weeks.
