Governor Culver To Sign Bill Making Rebate Checks Tax-free
(Des Moines) Tomorrow, Governor Chet Culver will sign into law HF 2417, the “Federal Tax Rebate Exemption.” This bill will provide working Iowans $67 million in tax relief and will ensure the rebate will not be used for calculating income-based eligibility for residence at the Iowa Veterans Home.
