Governor Culver Statement On Sixth Anniversary
Of September 11, 2001
(Des Moines) Today, Governor Culver issued a statement on the sixth anniversary of September 11, 2001.
STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR CHET CULVER:
“On the sixth anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, we remember the more than 3000 individuals who lost their lives on that day, especially those Iowans whose lives were tragically cut short in the attack - Craig Amundson, Jim Cleere, Tim Haviland, Karen Kincaid, Mari-Rae Sopper, Sandra Teague, and Michael Tinley.
“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the loved ones of these innocent Iowans, as well as the families and friends of everyone who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.”
