Statement from Governor Culver on 1-35W Minneapolis Bridge Collapse
BELOW IS A STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR CHET CULVER ON THE
1-35W MINNEAPOLIS BRIDGE COLLAPSE:
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who were injured, and the families of those who have died in the collapse of the 1-35W bridge in Minneapolis. The images coming across our television screens are certainly severe and sobering, and while we watch we hope and pray for the best for those involved in this tragic incident. We have offered support to our neighbors to the North; Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and rescue crews responding to this disaster."
