I-JOBS

When the national economy began to slide into recession, rather than sit back and let the problems correct themselves, Governor Culver and Lt. Governor Judge got to work, creating a new initiative that would rebuild our communities while rebuilding our economy. The plan is simple. I-JOBS leverages existing state revenues and our outstanding AAA bond rating to create the jobs that hardworking Iowans deserve. And we do it all without raising your taxes.I-JOBS bill signings
